Royce’s adorable face, big blue eyes, and sweet demeanor have made him a favorite in his foster home and he needs your help.   His scarves and collars are not a fashion choice, they help keep him from scratching his skin around his head and neck making them red, raw, and infected (see below). Royce has had numerous vet visits, various treatments including antibiotics, steroids, sprays, and various diets to no significant avail.  After countless costly vet visits, medications, and food trials ACDC Rescue has taken him to a specialist for further testing and treatment.

He most recently had baseline bloodwork to make sure that is normal as well as specialized bloodwork to help determine what he might be allergic to.  We are awaiting the results of this special bloodwork and we anticipate his treatment will be costly as well.  A visit to the specialist and the special diagnostic bloodwork alone was $750, He will need follow up visits at the dermatologist and specially formulated medication to treat him.  We are anticipating the medication will be at least $1500.  ACDC Rescue has already spent over $1200 in food, supplies, and other medications.  He’s one of the sweetest cats and has endured all his treatments like a trooper.  Please help us get this adorable guy the help he needs so he can find his forever home.
